St. Rose of Lima Vacation Bible School 2025
St. Rose of Lima Summer Vacation Bible School will be held from Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 11 from 8:30 am - 12:15 pm for children Pre-K (age 4 by July 1, 2025) through those who completed 5th Grade in June 2025. Our theme this year is True North - Trusting Jesus in a Wild World, - the Totally Catholic Bible School from Our Sunday VisitorOur campers will be divided into six groups by age/grade (maximum 20 students per group), not specifically by grade. For example, we'll have a maximum of two groups for pre-school but other groups may be a mix of students such as grades 4 & 5. Campers will cycle through six stations each day: 1) Bible Adventure, 2) Scripture & Saints, 3) Gym/Games, 4) Snack, 5) Music, 6) Crafts. Click here for the daily schedule.
Registration
Registration is open April 15, 2025 through June 15, 2025. Space is limited and pre-registration is required; walk-ins will not be accepted due to planning and staffing requirements. Fee schedule per family: $50/1 child; $65/2 children; $75/3 or more children.

We need many adult and student volunteers to run a successful vacation bible school. All adults 18 and older must be Safe Environment compliant (please contact Amy

Student Volunteer Information:- Student Volunteer Orientation Meeting - Friday, June 13, 5 pm - 6 pm (pizza will be served)
- Confirmation Service Projects: Students receiving Confirmation in 2025 (current 8th Graders) or 2026 (current 7th graders) will get credit for one service project if they register as a student volunteer and complete a minimum of four 3-hour prep/decorating shifts or serve as a volunteer for the entire VBS week (see below). Students may volunteer for both decorating/prep and for VBS week but will only get credit for one service project.

Adult Volunteer Information
Adults are needed for VBS week and for the following shifts in preparation for VBS (prep, assembly and decorating). You may work as many or as few shifts as you'd like - there is always a need and work to be done. Adults are needed to serve as teachers, co-teachers, station leaders, station aides, group leaders or hall monitors. We will assign positions based on need and preference:- Bible Adventure - teacher, co-teacher or aide
- Scripture and Saints Aide - teacher, co-teacher or aide
- Group Leader - accompanies children in their assigned group throughout the day; each group will be assigned one adult leader and two student helpers
- Crafts - leader, co-leader or aide
- Music Helper/Skit Actor/Skit Stage Crew - help Mia with tasks associated with the music station and/or the daily skit
- Snacks - leader or helper; assist with assembling snack bags and providing snacks to campers and VBS volunteers each day
- Recreation/Gym - leader, co-leader or helper
