Bereavement Ministry: The Ministry of Bereavement is composed of men and women of St. Rose who have experienced the death of a loved one or the death of a relationship and feel called to reach out to others in similar situations. This Ministry provides a safe place for support and healing by listening with understanding, recommending services that may aid in the grieving process, making home visits and phone calls and organizing the Mass of All Souls each November. Evangelization—Home visitation: This ministry sends people (in pairs) to homes within the boundaries of our parish to invite inactive Catholics to come back to the church. Volunteers also reach out to people who are not affiliated with any organized religion to see if they would be interested in learning more about our Catholic faith.
Gardening Apostolate: The Gardening Apostolate’s mission is to interweave a love for God with an appreciation of nature and contemplative prayer. Time “playing” in the gardens is offered as a gift to God to help save souls. This ministry tends to the grounds surrounding the Eucharistic Chapel and along Green Street. King’s Men: The King's Men mission is to unite and build up men as true leaders, protectors and providers. This is achieved through weekly formation and accountability groups, dynamic outdoor experiential retreat programs and a call to action effort, which enables men to engage the cultural and social climate with authentic apostolic zeal. TKM's small men's groups are the true heartbeat of this lay apostolate. The goal of these groups is to challenge men to grow in their Catholic faith and in their vocations as single men, husbands, fathers, brothers, and sons. This is fulfilled through prayer, reading, discussion of great books and TKM's 4 C's: Commit, Confess, Challenge and Confirm. Contact: Steve Bozza at (609) 247 – 5588 or email: [email protected]
